Participatory media and digital natives bring transparency and collective action to the civic sphere. People who are accustomed to the world of participatory media, user-generated content, and smart networking bring a powerful voice to the civic sphere. Using new tools, people will act collectively, whether joining in “netroot” (i.e. Internet enabled grassroots) political campaigns, working together to solve social issues, or forcing transparency into civic processes.

Ways to Start Taking Action

  4. Search the twitterstream for conversations about a current events
